bolgheri le volte tenuta ornellaia 2017. Alcohol content 13.5% vol. Made from 50% Merlot, 30% Sangiovese and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. It ages for 10 months in the same barriques where Ornellaia was kept. Beautiful dark and concentrated ruby colour. The nose is very fruity and slightly spicy: raspberry, blackberry, currant, cherry, rose, pepper and light vanilla flavours. Very elegant taste with excellent tannin and a pleasant freshness. Long, fruity finish. Match it with noodles with hare sauce, pork ribs, Tuscan beef stew.

piccoli vini crescono
avevo assaggiato le volte qualche anno fa e mi era piaciuto molto, ma il 2012 sicuramente mi ha lasciato a bocca aperta per la sua intensità al naso e il suo equilibrio. è pur sempre il cugino dell'ornellaia!
